Magnetic Separation Unit for Separating Magnetic Nano- or Micro-Particles from Treated Water in a Water or Wastewater Treatment System
The invention claims a magnetic separator for water treatment system which can attract magnetic nano-or micro-particles from water. the magnetic separator comprises a tank wherein a baffle plate so as to form a fluid channel permanent magnet or electromagnet is bonded to the bottom of the baffle plate or groove to provide a magnetic field to magnetic nano-or micro-particles a washing system for magnetic particle jet washing solution to wash the bottom of the baffle plate or the groove is attracted and then magnetic particles can be regenerated and reused. The invention further claims a water treatment system with the magnetic separator comprising: a first stirred tank reactor in the first stirred tank reactor magnetic particles react with heavy metal or organic pollutant in water; the water of the first magnetic separator which receives from the first stirred tank reactor after reaction and the magnetic particles after the reaction and separating the water which has been processed.
